Meet the artist

Stacey is a Melbourne based photo artist whose art is influenced by her own journey through motherhood.

After a successful career in fashion and visual communication Stacey returned to life behind the lens in 2019. Calling on the skills she developed during her years completing her Bachelor of Applied Science (Photography) at RMIT University, Melbourne.

Stacey has become well known for her painterly blooms that unfold in a tank of water. Using specialised photographic techniques combined with her artistic prowess Stacey captures the spontaneous rush of colour creating mysterious and ambiguous works of art.

The chaos of everyday family life inspires Stacey’s documentary style portraiture. Capturing the little moments in time that we don’t realise how much they mean until they have passed.

Stacey's work has been exhibited in group shows, featured in public art displays and published, in print and online, in international art and fashion magazines.

“As far as I’m aware, I am the only breastmilk photographer in the world, which is not a bad title to hold!”
