How does the commission process work?

Are the Limited Edition prints breastmilk?

Breastmilk is not used in any Limited Edition prints. Colours are created using a wide variety of environmentally conscious pigments.

Can you please tell me more information about framing?

Frames come with a museum grade, UV protection Plexiglass. Plexiglass is indistinguishable from standard glass but is lighter and virtually impossible to break, improving the shipping process. If you would prefer glass please contact for quote.

Frames are made in Melbourne, Australia and are conservatory framed. Meaning archival practices are used so your prints will be expertly preserved.

Framing with Mat Board

All frames are 20mm width and 22mm depth. 

Mat board is 70mm wide in standard white. 

Overall size of an A4 framed image with matt board will be approx 386mm x 300mm. 

Framing without Mat Board

All frames are 20mm width and 22mm depth.

Overall size of an A4 framed image without matt board will be approx. 316mm x 230mm.


What paper do you use?
All artworks, commissioned and Limited Edition are printed on archival quality, fine art, smooth pearl paper (310gsm). The smooth pearl finish is consistent with the look and feel of a traditional photograph whilst reducing glare and preserving colour.


Can you email a digital copy of my image?
Short answer, no. A great deal of time and resources have been used to ensure high quality, reliable printing of each image. To protect each commission client and guarantee limited edition images are not reproduced a digital version of the image will not be provided.



Do you commercial license any of your images?

If a company aligns with the values of Stacey Harley and The Milk Project licensing images is an option. Please email stacey@staceyharley.com to discuss your needs.

How much does a commissioned artwork cost?
Each artwork is individually quoted because there are variables such as size, and framing. Prices start at from $760AUD for an unframed A3 image.

My print has arrived damaged, what should I do?
Upon completion of the artwork, it shall be shipped to the Collector’s specified address. If secure postage packaging arrives damaged, please take photos prior to opening as proof of damage in transit. Stacey will not be held responsible for items damaged or lost during transit. All efforts will be made by Stacey to assist in claims process for lost or damaged artwork.


Why does my print looks different on screen?
Due to variations between devices and screens sometimes colour may appear different in print. Stacey uses reliable printing methods to guarantee image are printed to her intended colour palette.


Can I customise a limited edition print?
If you would like an image printed or cropped differently to what appears in the Gallery Shop please get in touch, stacey@staceyharley.com. Depending on the complexity the request may incur additional costs.


What is your refund policy?

All artworks are custom printed so please choose carefully. Refunds/returns or exchanges cannot be offered due to change of mind, wrong decisions or incorrect choice.


What currency do you charge in?
Prices are specified as Australian Dollars ($AUD). It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they converted currencies based on current exchange rates. Collector is liable for any fees and charges associated with transfer of payment and currency conversion.
