It was a rainy morning in Keilor Downs, and my client and I were anxiously texting back and forth, debating whether to cancel our scheduled photo session. As luck would have it, the rain stopped just in time, and I am so glad we decided to go ahead. The resulting photos are absolutely everything we could have hoped for!
This particular shoot was a delightful mix of play and connection with a lovely family: mum, dad, a lively toddler boy, and his baby sister. From the moment we started, it was clear that this session would be filled with energy and joy.
We began by playing in the garden, where I learned about dinosaurs I had never heard of before, thanks to the little boy's enthusiastic storytelling. His energy was boundless, and we never stopped moving, which I absolutely love in a session. The natural, candid moments captured during these high-energy interactions are truly priceless.
While the toddler kept us on our toes, baby sister enjoyed a more relaxed pace. She held onto daddy's hands and took tentative steps around the garden. The bond between the siblings was heartwarming to witness. We placed both kids on the ground, where they cuddled, rolled around together, and showed each other so much love.
